Welcome to the Suffield Players

The Suffield Players is a community theatre group, proud to be celebrating our sixtieth anniversary of providing quality live theater to Suffield and environs.  We do three productions each season at historic Mapleton Hall in the northeast corner of Suffield, Connecticut.  So come join the fun--on stage, backstage, or in the audience.  See How to Get Here.

60 for 60 Campaign

15 years ago, the Players acquired Mapleton Hall and we've been working hard ever since to restore the Hall to its original beauty.  Our latest project was restoring the front steps with easier-to-climb steps.  A green band runs up those steps—one side has been paid for, the other has not.  We need your help to move that line all the way to "Paid."  We ask for $60, $1 for each of our sixty years, but any amount is welcome.  Just fill out this form and send it in with a check to PO Box 101, Suffield, CT, 06078.
DIRECTORS Search is ON
We are looking for directors for the four productions of our 2013-2014 season.  Scripts will be available for perusal at Kent Memorial Library in Suffield beginning May 11.&nbnsp If you want to direct any of these productions please send a resume to Konrad Rogowski at SPTMODE@charter.net no later than May 31.  Interviews will be scheduled during early June.  Be prepared to discuss your overall vision of the play, and other particulars.
Relay For Life, June 8-9

Our Relay team, "Not Just Playin' Around," will be on the field to support the fight against cancer at the Suffield Middle School.  Click here to donate to the cause.

Notice of Annual Meeting
The Suffield Players will hold their Annual Meeting on June 2 beginning at 2PM.  There will be a report on the past season, a formal announcement of the coming season, elections of the Board of Directors, and a party.  Burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks will be provided; you are invited to bring a dish to share.  Join us for the celebration.
