Allen joined The Suffield Players in the late 1980s, and found a place he truly called home. Many significant friendships of his life were formed here, and he will be greatly missed. We remember his talent, craftsmanship, and generosity onstage, particularly his remarkable comic timing, mellifluous voice, comedic ingenuity, and the ability to drop a one-liner with precision. Allen’s backstage technical participation is also well remembered, and he enjoyed being a part of the Players’ Playreading Committee. The Suffield Players will always remember Allen Nott when we hear the opening announcement, “Welcome to Mapleton Hall.”
